This project delivers a WhatsApp-based assistant system for RSUD Leuwiliang, a regional public hospital in Indonesia. The bot was designed to enhance patient experience by offering easy access to online reservation, doctor schedules, and even AI-based consultations — all through WhatsApp.

Patients can easily book appointments, check available doctor schedules, and other — all via WhatsApp. This eliminates the need for on-site registration, making the process faster and more accessible.
AI Consultation via WhatsApp

Patients can interact with a smart AI assistant directly in WhatsApp to get health-related answers, basic triage, or guidance. This feature improves early response times and reduces the burden on medical staff.
Problem
The hospital needed a modern, accessible, and user-friendly system to streamline public healthcare services and reduce congestion at offline registration desks. Patients often struggled with long wait times and limited access to timely information.
Solution
I developed a complete digital service system using Twilio's WhatsApp API integrated with Laravel and React. The bot automates common patient interactions such as reservations, schedule inquiries, and even medical consultation via a built-in AI. The system is backed by a dashboard for hospital staff to manage reservations, view patient queries, and monitor system usage.
Result
The WhatsApp bot significantly reduced manual work for hospital staff and improved service accessibility for patients. With over hundreds of monthly interactions, the system helped reduce queue congestion and allowed patients to handle most services remotely via WhatsApp Bot.
