ORBITE is an Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) web application developed for ClickLabs, designed to assist cybersecurity teams—particularly those in law enforcement agencies—in gathering and analyzing public data about individuals or entities. Problem
The client's cybersecurity team, including police digital forensics units, often had to rely on multiple separate OSINT tools spread across various platforms, leading to inefficiencies, lack of integration, and time-consuming workflows.
Solution
I developed a unified OSINT platform that centralizes multiple tools into a single web-based application. Using Laravel for the backend and React.js for the frontend, I built a modular system that integrates key OSINT functionalities such as social media lookup, domain tracing, metadata extraction, and more. All user interactions and data queries are stored securely in a MySQL database, allowing for streamlined operations and auditability.
The web interface was designed with user experience in mind, enabling cybersecurity professionals to perform multiple investigative tasks from a single dashboard—without switching between different software or platforms.
Result
The new platform significantly improved efficiency for cybersecurity analysts, reducing tool-switching time and increasing investigation speed. Feedback from the client's pentesting and digital forensics teams highlighted that having all essential tools in one system greatly accelerated their workflow and improved operational effectiveness.
